Koto Yukimitsu tachi with Tokubetsu Hozon Certificate. Yukimitsu first generation worked in the late Nanbokucho period(1375) to early Muromachi Period(1394), In Kaga province current Ishikawa prefecture . His father was Tomoshige first generation and he trained under Kasyu Sanekage.
This Tachi has a large sori, Many of tachi of the Nanbokucho era were shortened so this is a very good rare ubu example. Tachi Koshirae is late Edo period. The style is Shinogizukuri with Iorimune having a Chu-kissaki, the curvature is deep and koshi-sori. Nakago is ubu forged in Itame hada with some Masame , Utsuri. Gunome Midare Hamon with sunagashi. lots of kinsuji. Boshi is Midare komi and Komaru.
