According to the result of the Shinsa committee of our society, we judge this work as authentic
and rank it as Tokubetsu-Hozon Tōken.

KANENAGA (兼長), Genroku (元禄, 1688-1704), Musashi – “Bushū Kanda-jū Sanshirō Kanenaga”
(武州神田住三四郎兼長), “Bushū Edo-jū Kanenaga” (武州江戸住かね長), “Kanenaga” (かね長), he signed the
character “Kane” often in hiragana syllables, according to tradition, he was the son of the Shitahara-smith Kanenaga
(兼長) who was active around Meireki (明暦, 1655-1658)
