0.6 cm, saki-kasane 0.4 cm, kissaki-nagasa 3.2 cm, nakago-nagasa 21.95 cm,
only very little nakago-sori
Shinogi-zukuri, iori-mune, chū-kissaki, shallow sori
Rather standing-out itame that is mixed with some nagare
Ko-notare in nie-deki that is mixed with gunome, togariba, a few chōji, ashi,
and over the entire length with sunagashi
Midare-komi with a ko-maru-kaeri that runs back in a long fashion
Ubu, kurijiri, kiri-yasurime, two mekugi-ana
Tosa no Kami Tadayoshi signed in a quite unique manner and we see several variations in
the size and in other aspects of his mei. He executed the right radical (巴) of the character for Hi
(肥) in Hizen the same way as the first generation when he was in his Jūnin phase as ( ), whereas
in case of most of his larger signatures, this radical is executed as ( ). As for his character for
Fuji (藤) in Fujiwara, the bottom right part (𣳾) is executed as ( ) and can feature two or three
horizontal strokes.
