Mounted in superb high quality Tanto koshirae with en suite pure Silver fittings with Wave motif and saya with a raised Taka Makie ornamentation of waves Tsuka covered with same and wrapped in the Hishimaki style with reddish brown braid; Wave motif Fuchi Kashira, Kozuka, Kurigata, Koiguchi, Kojiri and Uragawa ra, . All fittings made of solid of Silver in the late late Edo Period.
