Tadashi naginata-naoshi mumei nari. Nie-shuchō no gunome tsure sunagashi kakaru.
Deki wa dōkō mo tenkei-teki saku’iki nari. Jidai Nanbokuchō-ki.
Hachō isshaku san-sun shichi-bu yo kore ari.

This blade is a naginata-naoshi and is mumei. It displays a nie-based and connected gunome with
sunagashi and its interpretation is thus typical for this smith. The blade dates to the Nanbokuchō
period.
Blade length ~ 41.5 cm
Written by Tanzan [Tanobe Michihiro] in the first third of May in the year of the rat of this era
(2008) + monogram.
